Hardwood Floor Layers will lay finished floor products and unfinished hardwoods as well as prepare subfloors to accept new hardwood floors. The work is done in both residential homes and commercial businesses and requires the utmost attention to layout and detail. It also requires manual dexterity and, good hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of design and patterns.

How do new apprentices get their first job? Applicants are placed on a list. When new apprentices are needed, applicants are taken from the top of the list.
