Union Pile Drivers construct the heavy foundations for buildings, factories, and other large structures. They are experts in marine construction, building projects such as docks, piers, and bridges. Some specially trained Pile Drivers also work underwater as construction deep-sea divers.

Applications: Mon. thru Fri. 8 am to 5 pm at all Carpenters Training Committee District Offices. Office closed 12 to 1 pm daily. Applications may be printed online or picked up at any Carpenters Local Union Office, Apprentice Training Center or EDD in your area.

How do new apprentices get their first job? Applicants are placed on a list. When new apprentices are needed, applicants are taken from the top of the list.
