Union Cement Masons are responsible for all concrete construction, including setting forms, placing and finishing of slabs, steps, wall tops, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, paving and other concrete construction on buildings, highways, and sidewalks. In addition, they do gunite application, sand blasting, waterproofing, concrete sawing, scoring, and application of epoxy coatings.

How do new apprentices get their first job?   The applicant must seek his/her own employment from participating employers, after meeting the qualifications to enter an apprenticeship program
